  • Rajasthan


State Animal – Camel and Chinkara
There are chestnut colored stripes on either side of the face, and 2 horns. They prefer a habitat of arctic plains, deserts, and arid locations.

Camel is really a massive portion of the appearance and individuality of Rajasthan itself. The country is home to over 85 percent of India's camel population. It is not just a mode of transportation, yet this creature was part of the legacy and economy of this nation. Camel herders really believe god Shiva made them to look after the camels.


  • Sikkim


State Animal -- Red Panda
Red pandas are characterised by their thick reddish fur, white marks on both sides of the mind, and black-coloured stomach and limbs. These are somewhat bigger than a cat in size and are really acrobatic in nature. They're mainly herbivores and feed on pine, fruits and other crops, but they could also feed on eggs. The Sikkim Government has taken efforts to conserve this species since they are'Endangered'.

Men have a dark brown-black body using a silver saddle and black spots in their face and legs. The females have gray bodies with faint facial marks. The horns of a man are bigger and thicker than that of a female. These goats roam round in massive herds.

State Animal – Phayre’s langur
This really is an endangered lutung (set of Old World Monkeys) species. ) These guys possess distinctive white rings round their eyes that are dark. The natives call them'chashma Bandar (fighter with spectacles)' for the white eye-rings. They've a triangular dark-coloured mind, long whiskers, a blossom, long tails, and a white spot around their mouth. These remain in collections and are arboreal, feeding on the leaves of trees that are discerning.

State Animal – Alpine Musk deer
The Alpine Musk deer are still an endangered deer species, which may be distinguished by their long upper teeth which come from the mouth. All these are located in the deciduous and coniferous woods in the hills. The men are very aggressive during the breeding period, plus they are seen head-butting or indicating their territories by spraying musk.


  • West Bengal


State Animal -- Fishing Cat
It's recorded as a Vulnerable species due to habitat loss. The kitty has a yellow-brownish body with different black lines and spots. All these are cats and therefore are observed searching for snakes, fish, rodents, birds, and insects. They could swim long distance and may also swim underwater.


  • Telangana


State Animal -- Deer
Also called chital deer, all these have a brownish body with white spots, and white spots in their throat, ears, legs, and tails. The guys boast of antlers and are bigger than the females in proportion. These revolve round in massive herds, seeking grass.
