  • Andhra Pradesh


State Animal -- Blackbuck
Male Blackbucks could be recognized by their long tail horns, which may grow over 20 inches. The females do not have horns and have another color of tan. Men have a dark brown to black top parts, and have the different white underparts and thighs.


  • Arunachal Pradesh


State Animal -- Mithun
This stocky bovine species can also be called'Cattle of' Mountain' or even Gayal. These critters are black or brown with yellow or white limbs, exceptional horizontal and triangular forehead, and thick blackish horns. The females are much smaller compared to the bulls. Gayals are thought to become a hybrid of those wild gaur and national cattle.


  • Assam


State Animal – One-horned rhinoceros
It is readily identified by its own black horn, which may grow up to 8--25 inches . It's a grey-brown body that resembles an armour seem owing to its skin folds. The species has been quite near extinction, but the correct and effective attempts have led in their population growth.


  • Bihar


State Animal -- Gaur
Also referred to as the Indian Bison, Gaur is the biggest species one of wild cattle. It's a huge built, dark brown body, pale-coloured muzzle, white or tan thighs, big ears, and horns growing out from the side of its mind. Both men and female possess these up curving horns.


  • Chhattisgarh


State Animal – Wild buffalo
This massive buffalo is indigenous to India and Southeast Asia. It's a greyish-black body using rough hair, narrow head, small ears, upwards curving horns, along with a tuft on its brow. It's bulkier than the frequent buffalo. It's located around swamps and moist grasslands. Regrettably, it's been listed as Endangered due to the sudden decrease in its population.


  • Goa


State Animal - Gaur
Gaurs are located in the array of evergreen woods to deciduous woods. These bovids adore the hilly areas and could be seen foraging on pine, shrubs, and grass. Various studies have revealed that these creatures have become nocturnal to take care of extreme human intervention. They float around in smallish herds that are directed by an elderly female.

State Animal – Asiatic Lion
